TASTING NOTES: Beautiful salmon pink color. This wine shows prominent raspberry and candy floss flavours on the nose and palate. Good balance between fruit, acidity and sweetness ensures that this wine is a true crowd pleaser. Enjoy with oysters and salads.
VINEYARD: A 15 year old Shiraz vineyard on a slight southern slope. The weathered shale soil is ideally suited to the cultivar.
CLIMATE: A dry harvesting season ensured healthy grapes.
HARVEST: Night harvested to ensure that grapes enter the cellar as cool as possible . Production of 8000 L/HA.
WINEMAKING: Skin contact of about 4 hours was given to extract the correct amount of color. After settling, the clear juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at about 14 degrees Celsius using Vin 13 yeast. After ferment the wine was stabilized, filtered, carbonated and bottled.
