Chateau La Clémence is a Pomerol estate located in the commune of Pomerol in the Bordeaux wine region of France. It was founded in 1989 by the late Jean-Pierre Moueix, who was also the owner of two other prestigious Pomerol estates, Chateau Pétrus and Chateau La Fleur-Pétrus. The estate is named after the late Mr. Moueix's wife, Clémence. The wine is a deep ruby red color with aromas of blackberries, plums, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-balanced with flavors of black fruit, chocolate, and spices. The finish is long and lingering.
