South African dry Muscat inspired by Zibibbo di Pantelleria, Sicily. Akkura: in the Sicilian dialect it means 'pay attention’. Hanepoot or Muscat d’ Alexandrie belongs to the large group of ‘Moscati’ referred to as “Vitis Apianae” because they are sweet and preferred by bees. For this amazing wine, it is completely dry the wine shows some lemon cheesecake, ginger biscuit, salted caramel and grapey aromas on the nose. The palate is refreshingly clean and bright with ripe orange and floral characteristics. A pleasant and enjoyable wine for sure!
