Jan van Riebeeck established the first vines on the Cape in 1655. One of those three original cultivars was Steen, also known as Chenin blanc. Buffelsfontein Steen is a deliciously crisp, Chenin Blanc wine, with pear flavour, textured and refreshing, even though it is also complex and layered.
