TASTING NOTES: A beautiful salmon-pink colour with an enticing and uplifting nose of lush summer fruits of juicy ripe strawberries and wild cherries to entice you. On the palate it displays more playful and harmonious fruit flavours that are beautifully balanced by the soft-whispering bubbles, which fills out elegantly into a smooth, creamy texture to give you a mouth-watering finish that will make you call out for that second glass.
This 100% Pinot Noir Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) sparkling-wine is produced from specially selected parcels of grapes, and only the first pressing / best juice was used.
Bottled in 2017, this MCC was bottle-fermented and matured on the lees for 27 months before dégorging. Hand-crafted with great tenderness and dedicated to winemaker Matthew Krone’s fun-loving and wildly independent youngest
daughter, Amelia Rose.
Only 3,000 bottles of this limited release MCC were produced, with subsequent vintage launches only available on Leap Years. “My wife and daughters inspire me to produce my wines from the heart; while my family winemaking heritage of 300 years and my dreams for the future, guarantee the quality of my wines”. – Matthew Krone
