A blend 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
The wine exudes a perfumed character with red currant, strawberry, fynbos and white pepper. the palate is bright and juicy with pure fruit flavors, balanced by fresh acidity and smooth, powdery tannins. The finish is savory and lingering. The grapes were fermented separately, with the Grenache whole-bunch and the Syrah destemmed. The Grenache saw no oak aging, while the Syrah rested in older French oak.
