This classic red is named after the Route 62 highway that passes through the beautiful Tradouw Valley. Matured in French oak for twenty months, bottled unfiltered.
The cultivars that make up this classic blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc) were matured separately using only the best barrels. A complex note gives away to underlying tones of raspberries, blackberries and red fruit, followed by a lingering herbal finish. Drink now through 2026.
Enjoy with beef Wellington or slow roasted shoulder of lamb or lamb knuckle on a fresh tomato and herb polenta.
