70 % Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, Located on the eastern slope of Saint-Emilion, in a superb amphitheater of which it occupies the South - South West slope, the Montlisse vineyard was acquired in 1984 by the Dauriac family. Grand Cru of Saint-Emilion, Montlisse was noticed by Christian Dauriac for its rounded configuration facing due south on steep slopes allowing water to flow naturally. The emphasis is on respecting the fruit, with notes of red fruits and blackberries on a nice woody side. On the nose, notes of Morello cherries combined with subtle and distinguished aromas of candied fruits. The sweetness coupled with the good acidity of the vintage brings us to a delicious, fruity finish.
